By joining ITSPA, Sipwise is further strengthening its market position in the UK

Sipwise and ITSPA are delighted to announce that Sipwise has joined ITSPA as an Associate Member. Sipwise is also extremely pleased to be the key sponsor of ITSPA’s exhibition space at Convergence Summit South 2016.

ITSPA has a pedigree and proven record, providing advice and assistance to UK ITSPs on a varied spectrum of topics as well as lobbying on behalf of the industry on numerous issues. Sipwise is happy to assist them with their excellent work and look forward to contributing to the association. With this membership with the leading industry association, Sipwise takes another important step to strengthen its market position in the UK telecommunication market.

By joining ITSPA, Sipwise will be involved with the trade body’s working groups and forums with a view to better understanding the challenges that internet telephony service providers are facing and to seek avenues where technology may be able to overcome these problems. Whether that is through improved cyber security and authentication within Softswitch platforms or providing consultancy expertise in deployment architectures of Class 5 networks.

 About ITSPA

ITSPA is the UK’s trade association for VoIP and next generation communication services

providers. Founded in 2004, we represent the views of over 90 members ranging from the largest Tier one operators to the new entrants in the telecommunications sector. Aside from Internet telephony, our members offer video, instant messaging and other “over the top” services to millions of customers in both the business and residential communication markets.

ITSPA predominantly focuses its work in three key areas;

  • Lobbying – to ensure our industry has an effective voice in proposed regulatory and technical changes to the communications sector
  • Education – to help our members understand the latest trends, develop new models of best practice and tackle industry problems collectively for the good of the industry
  • Promotions – to help bring the industry and wider stakeholders together through events, workshops and meetings to foster business opportunities, build the profile of the sector and raise awareness of new developments
