Sipwise presented its Unified Communication Platform and WebRTC Applications at this year’s Kapsch Technology Forum in Neuss, Germany

The Kapsch Technology Forum is one of the most important carrier events in Germany. It is well-known across the industry of cable network providers and telecommunication operators. It is where decision makers gather for two days to discuss the most recent developments and exciting innovations of the communication industry in Germany and being present here is always a huge honour.

This year, Sipwise had, once again, the pleasure of being the sponsor at the Kapsch Technology Forum that was held in Neuss, Germany near Düsseldorf. The company was one of those who presented their innovative product with the potential to revolutionise the way people communicate.

While communication based on SIP protocol will continue to play a significant role for every upcoming All-IP initiative and PSTN replacement, Sipwise has already gone beyond that point and shows how communication services could look like in the future. Global developments like BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) or browser-based communications are backing the idea of disconnecting communication from a particiular device.

Sipwise loves this idea of enabling users and enterprises to utilise a specific communication service independently from any device, hence developted the WebRTC based communication framework RTC:engine. This award-winning product enables a carrier to offer multimedia real-time communication services like video conferences or video based helpline services without the installation of any additional software or plug-in. The services run directly in the webbrowser, independently from any specific device.

Martin Kastner, Sipwise Sales Director was presenting the possibilities of RTC:engine to an interested group of industry leaders, showing that real-time communication has never been so easy before.

“The rich feedback to the presentation confirms the interests of many carriers in new and innovative IP-based communication services. For us, Sipwise, this proves to be on the right way on enlarging our UC platform of Class 5 Softswitches, PBX and SIPphones with another industry leading application like RTC:engine”, Martin stated after the event.
